Quarantine at home sweet home

Friday April 10th – We arrived in Maine on Tuesday after our last night of camping in front of Gorham, NH’s police station. The night was cold (28F/-2C) and at 5am Noreen and I were getting coffee and donuts at the Dunkin Donuts’ drive thru. Tuesday was Mary’s birthday so we surprised her with coffee in bed (well more like coffee in sleeping bag) and the most decadent donut available at the store. We arrived in Ellsworth around noon, returned the rental car and biked to MDI. It was a great way to end our trip before entering 14 days of quarantine with no leaving home except for solitary walks or bike rides.

Home sweet home
Day 1 of quarantine : yummy breakfast !
Day 2 of quarantine : solo bike ride to hunters beach
Day 3 of quarantine : snow day!
