“A Sunday drive across the country” (Hogan, 2020)

Sunday, April 5th – We spent the night at the Fairfield hotel in Fenton, MO on the outskirts of Saint Louis. The place was so empty that we got upgraded to a suite with 3 giant beds! What a treat. We left the hotel towards the Gateway Arch in Downtown Saint Louis. It looked like a ghost town, the streets were empty and we only saw 2 people walking their dogs. We didn’t see a single business open. We are currently driving on East 55 in the state of Illinois towards the state of Indiana.
